long long day
lost the wife
from the channel
but gained an
old friend
i didn't invite
my wife because
i thought she would
love my writing
i did it to be honest
with myself and her
and i figured she
could see it for
herself and decide
it's not for her
and eventually she
did which i applaud
she's got enough on
her plate without my
artsy fartsy-ness
and i'm not keen on
her style of criticism
so it's a mutual win-win
but the old friend is
the one who brought me
to telegram in the
first place and it's
good to reconnect with
the writing writer
