the other night we got a letter from 6's teacher about her disappointment that he was saying 'whatever' to her and rolling his eyes and being loud distracting all the students in his class and others walking down the hall to the library and he was therefore detained back to his homeroom and talked to by the teacher which he reacted to with more 'whatevers' and eye rolling and the letter was long and it hurts a parent's heart to get these letters as we had gotten a coulple last year for behavior on the bus and something else i can't remember but he turned those around
