woke up in a panic
throughout the night
my mind trying to
figure out things
that need resolution
but can’t be helped
in the dark but there
is no control when
those demons arrive
and morning brings
the double edged
sword of anxiety
where tired and stressed
but glad to be awake
and working on things
instead of lying there
on fire
