even an adult with adhd
can have just one intense
emotion take over their
whole brain without the
ability to be rational and
without working memory
to assist in reminding one
what they did the last
time this happened so
you imagine a six year old
who is super intense already
in great ways and horrible
ways not having any ability
to control or even explain
themselves even though
they know what's right and
wrong and what behaviors
are acceptable there is no
control at times which
leads a very quick downward
spiral into feeling extremely
negative about oneself
and then reinforcing this
belief over and over
